Before you collect ballots
- Define the release-date window and whether reissues, live albums and EPs qualify.
- Include both album and artist names; define how alternate editions are combined.
- Announce that each person can rank at most three albums and how repeat submissions are handled.
A question you can copy
From our eligible shortlist, which three albums were your favorites? Put them in order and select each album only once.
Make the entries unambiguous
This version accepts top-three ballots. Do not advertise a top-ten submission or truncate longer lists. Use the title and artist together when preparing CSV choices.
Count and explain the result
Report the community name, eligibility window, number of ballots and scoring rule alongside the results. A small group's ranking describes that group's preferences; it does not establish a universal best album. Keep the source ballots in a backup for later checks.
This starter awards 3 points to the first choice, 2 to the second and 1 to the third. A shorter ballot keeps the same scale. Tied entries share a rank. Zero-point entries remain unranked.
Keep a reusable copy
After counting, export the results CSV and download a board backup. The CSV includes your scoring rule and ballot count. The backup keeps entries and ballots together for restoring on another device. Clearing browser data removes locally saved boards.
