Before you collect ballots
- Check player count, hardware, controllers, accessibility needs and whether everyone owns a copy.
- Agree on available time and remove games that cannot fit the session.
- Use equal favorites for up to three games people would happily play, or switch to ranked scoring before collecting ballots.
A question you can copy
Which of these games would you be happy to play tonight? Select up to three different games.
Make the entries unambiguous
The three-selection limit makes this a bounded favorites ballot. It is not unrestricted approval voting. If availability changes substantially, prepare a new shortlist and collect a new set of preferences.
Count and explain the result
With equal favorites, column order does not change the score. Each selection earns one point, with no repeated game in a ballot. Show how many people selected each game and resolve any tie using a rule agreed before counting.
This starter uses equal favorites: one point per selection, up to three selections. Tied entries share a rank. Zero-point entries remain unranked.
Keep a reusable copy
After counting, export the results CSV and download a board backup. The CSV includes your scoring rule and ballot count. The backup keeps entries and ballots together for restoring on another device. Clearing browser data removes locally saved boards.
